Rock Dam, is the largest trout hatchery in Missouri.
Four hiking trails are available for nature viewing. The Ozarks' forests and glades are home to a beautiful yet unusual diversity of plants and animals—all here for hikers to enjoy at Shepherd of the Hills Fish Hatchery.
The Visitor Center has free exhibits, aquariums and slide shows describing hatchery operations as well as self-guided tours of the hatchery. Visitors can even buy fish food to feed the hungry trout.
