Roy Rogers and Dale Evans Museum
and Happy Trails Theatre
Dedicated
to preserving the legacy of Roy Rogers and Dale Evans the museum showcases
the memories and treasures of two lifetimes and all they loved. See Trigger,
Buttermilk, Bullet (mounted figures) and even Pat Brady's Jeep, Nellybelle.
There are family photos dating back to Roy and Dale’s childhoods,
colorful costumes, parade saddles, memorabilia from the silver screen
and television, artifacts from Roy’s real-life safari adventures,
fan mail, comic strips and Roy and Dale’s Remington collection.
Visitors will see interactive displays with the voices of
Roy and Dale telling about specific displays and telling about their lives
and family—in their own words.
The Roy and Dale Theater shows two videos: a documentary
on Roy and Dale and a tribute to their wonderful sidekicks.
There are two daily live entertainment shows in t he intimate,
308-seat Happy Trails Theater that creates a personal connection with
Roy and Dale. Roy “Dusty” Rogers Jr. and The High Riders perform
the music made famous by these icons of Western culture and traditional
family values. The audience will hear “Cool Water,” “Tumbling
Tumbleweeds,” “Blue Prairie,” “Sky Ball Paint”
and many more classics.
Dusty shares memories of his famous parents and what it
was like to grow up as the son of “The King of the Cowboys”
and “The Queen of the West.” He even does a question and answer
session during his show so guests can ask him what it was really like
growing up with that famous Western duo.
